Dunes cottage

This 55m² cottage in Schoorl was run down, dark and barely functional. The kitchen was too small. The bathroom needed updating. We left the structure and layout entirely alone and focused on what was visible: new kitchen surfaces and cabinetry, a refreshed bathroom, new flooring throughout, and materials chosen to work with the original roof geometry in the attic. The result is a house that comfortably fits a family of five and finally feels like it belongs in the landscape it sits in.
