Weekend house

This 55m² cottage in Schoorl was run down, dark and barely functional. The kitchen was too small. The bathroom needed to be rebuilt from scratch. We redesigned the interior without touching the structure. On the ground floor we created a full length kitchen and dining space that opens directly onto the garden. The attic, previously unused, became the living room, working with the original roof geometry. The result is a house that comfortably fits a family of five.
