Garden apartment

A narrow 19th-century ground floor double apartment where the staircase blocked the plan and the middle section never saw daylight. We rebuilt the staircase, introduced layered lighting throughout both floors, and levelled the garden to the interior floor so the boundary between inside and outside disappears. The stairwell landing on the first floor became an 8m² bedroom. Space that previously served no purpose.
